Arena Bridge ("the Service") bridges a Discord server with an Are.na account. This policy explains what it stores and why.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Discord guild and channel identifiers, and the Are.na channel slugs you link | So the bridge knows where to route content. |
| One Are.na access token per server (encrypted at rest) | Granted by the admin who connects an Are.na account; used only to read the linked channels and create blocks you save. |
| The connected Are.na account name/slug | Shown in the dashboard. |
| Short-lived login sessions | To verify you have Manage Server before letting you configure a guild. Your personal Discord OAuth token is not retained after login. |
When a member reacts to a message, uses the Save to Are.na command, or posts in an auto-save channel, the Service reads that message only to copy the selected content into your Are.na channel. Discord message content is not stored in our own database beyond what you choose to save to Are.na. Auto-save, when enabled on a channel, copies every image posted there to Are.na.
We do not sell or share your data. Content you save is sent only to Are.na (subject to Are.na's terms) and Discord.
Remove the bot from your server and we delete that server's configuration and stored Are.na token. You may also request deletion at any time via the contact email.
